Join me for a lesson in the art of animal Tracking,

Animal tracking is a fun filled adventure that guides us to see nature with new eyes.  Discover the mysteries and worlds of activity taking place all around us by reading the tracks and sign of wild animals.

We'll explore the beaches and forests of Nova Scotia searching for the stories left for us in sand and other trackable substrates.  As you learn about the wildlife of this bio-region you'll also be learning to approach all of nature with new and more attuned eyes.

  • Learn to identify the Track & Sign of Mammals, birds, and insects
  • Practice advanced observation skills
  • Interpret animal behavior from track patterns
  • Look at the landscape with the eyes of a tracker
  • Journaling practices that speed up the learning process

Lessons are 1.5 hours long and take place at various locations in HRM and surrounding areas.  Come once to get a taste of what it's like or set up a regular schedule to go deep into one of the most fun and rewarding ways to connect with nature.

Cost is 20$ per lesson for individuals or 50$ for groups.
